Product Description
Organic arborist mulch helps condition the soil, even inviting earthworms to naturally aerate the soil, and helps reduce soil compaction. This is a great weed suppressant and builds up the soil’s beneficial microbes. Importantly, it’s produced locally from mulching all tree material produced in our tree care services.
Enhances Soil Structure & Aeration: As the mulch breaks down, it creates a rich layer of organic matter. This attracts earthworms and burrowing insects that naturally tunnel through the earth, loosening tightly packed dirt and reducing soil compaction without disturbing plant roots.
Boosts Beneficial Microbes: The diverse blend of materials feeds a complex underground ecosystem. It stimulates the growth of beneficial mycorrhizal fungi and bacteria, which unlock vital nutrients and deliver them directly to your plants’ root systems.
Blocks Weed Growth: A thick layer of arborist mulch cuts off sunlight to dormant weed seeds, preventing germination. Any weeds that do manage to break through are rooted in loose mulch rather than hard soil, making them effortless to pull.
Sold in bulk by the cube or half cube, for pick up from our Bell Block, New Plymouth yard or delivery.
